FRIENDLY GRAY WHALES OF BAJA CALIFORNIA
Each winter, gray whales migrate to the warm, shallow waters of Baja California to breed and mate. Many of these whales are friendly; they approach small boats to interact with people. With National Geographic Expeditions and Lindblad Expeditions, I visited the preserved area of Magdalena Bay and documented this extraordinary display of nature in the following video and photographs.
